Modern phraseology in the pages of the print media of Saint-Petersburg

Phraseology as a division of the linguistic system is intended to indindualize the language, making it more vivid and emotionally capacious. Modern phraseology is a whole layer of language culture, combining a multitude of functional and stylistic features and combining a variety of language forms: from book to prostitution and slang. Modern phraseological turnovers and receptions play a unique role in the development of print media, including in the publications of St. Petersburg. One of the key professional goals of journalism is to describe the essence of important social, economic and political problems of our time as concisely and expressively as possible, making them accessible to the perception of the target audience. To achieve this goal helps the skillful and appropriate use of phraseological units that reflect the language movements that are characteristic of society at a certain stage of development.
