Diadaskalie as a way of expressing author's "Ego" in drama

Drama consists of two main components: dialogue and didaskalie (author’s remark). A reader usually ignores didaskalies or does not pay them necessary attention. But he does not realize, that he makes an essential mistake, doing this, because he won’t be able to understand the author’s idea correctly. In our article “Diadaskalie as a way of expressing author’s “ego” in drama” we reveal the importance of didaskalie in drama and examine its role in different plays by different playwrights. We find out that it varies according to author’s intention in drama. We also underline, that didaskalie is the way of reservation of author’s idea. Didaskalie gives the author the opportunity to be the only “dictator” of his intention in a play and does not let a reader, a producer or an actor make his own interpretation of a drama.
