Siberian cooperation on grain market in the conditions of NEP: the struggle for the monopoly

In the article the author defines the place of the cooperation in the centralized storage of bread in Siberia in conditions of the NEP. It is concluded that by the end of the 1920΄s, cooperation took on preparing market position, close to monopoly. The organizational structure has acquired a strong central character. In turn all stages of the cooperative system from top to bottom were subordinated to the dictates of the party-state apparatus.
