Caspian problem in foreign policy of Azerbaijan: past and present

The article analyze the Caspian problem in foreign policy of Azerbaijan, the country's position in different historical periods, it’s unchanged despite the changes in the region. The author focuses on Azerbaijan's relations with other regional and non-regional actors, shows the solve ways of problem from the perspective of the other Caspian region countries. The article also discusses the features of the political situation in the Caspian region, analyzes the changes in the balance of power, as well as the geopolitical aspirations in the region of various international actors.
