Newspaper "Rodnaya strana" and reflected socio-cultural landscape of the city of Tsaritsyn at the beginning of the twentieth century

The object of the research is provincial periodicals beginning of the XX century in the Saratov province. This article details the story of a provincial newspaper county town of Tsaritsyn "Rodnaya strana". The author points out the main purpose of the newspaper, its role and tasks set by the publisher. Particular attention is paid to the structure of the newspaper, as well as the issues that increasingly are reflected in the pages of the local authority periodically. According to the materials of the local newspaper Tsaritsin indicated previously unpublished data that allow for increased understanding of the socio-cultural form of the county town of Tsaritsyn at the beginning of the XX century.
