Potential of theatre pedagogy in the personality development of a future teacher

The special relevance in modern pedagogical education is acquired by theoretical and practical readiness of a problem of the modern teacher training. Today the modern school needs the teacher who is personally included in a profession. This is a person with a broad outlook who has the humanistic potential of learning process. The teacher chooses methods and techniques of pedagogical interaction which have to be system-based, harmonious and have to correspond to the personality of pupils and also to his creative identity. The article proves a necessity of the reference to experience of theatrical pedagogy during the teacher training for development of his emotional culture, acquirement of techniques of actor’s expressive skills, acquirement of methods of audience impact, of self-control, development of skills of an active attention, an intuition etc. The author gives the definition to the concept ‘theatrical pedagogy", also its purpose and tasks are defined. The author mentions social and cultural factors that cause interest in theatrical pedagogy and the realization principle of purpose and tasks of theatrical pedagogy. Finally the author gives some conclusions about the potential of theatre pedagogy in the modern teacher training.
