Approaches to the construction competency-oriented tasks for diagnosis of personal results of education

The author of the article considers the competence approach as one of the possible answers to the needs of the individual, society and the state in modern education. Arguing about the reasons for his insufficiently effective implementation in schools and higher educational institutions, he pays special attention to competentcy-oriented tasks. Critical-creative analysis of ways to design competency-oriented tasks based on the classical taxonomy of educational goals led to the conclusion that their diagnostic capabilities are limited. The definition of the basic concept of the topic in connection with the main purpose of education in the information society and the comprehension of understanding as the highest spiritual side of activity lead to the development of personality-oriented approaches to the design and use of competency-oriented tasks for diagnosis of personal results of education.
