Loans in modern russian lexical synonymy: an adjective tolerant (on material of dictionaries of russian)

In article the results of a research of specifics of semantics of the borrowed adjective tolerant and its derivatives on the basis of their lexicographic representation in dictionaries are summed up (from bilingual dictionaries of the beginning of the 20th century to the newest explanatory and synonymic dictionaries of Russian of the 21st century); the place of these words in the synonymic system of Russian as bases of its semantic and stylistic system is defined. I am outlined ways of a further research.
