Key principles of English fiction texts' adaptation

The aim of this article is to consider theoretic characteristics of adaption of English literary text and define its role and main functions in the educational process. Especial attention is paid to principles and methods of adaption of literary text. Moreover, this article reviews the idea the adaption process includes both linguistic and extralinguistic principles, which aim to present the information of the original text with easy language means.
