Сomminicative basis of engineering discourse

The article is concerned the engineering communication as a separate discourse structure. Engineering discourse is a set of necessary engineer in one or another field of knowledge, fixed by language means. The article concludes that it is necessary to consider engineering communication as an autonomous communicative culture, which differs from other scientific cultures. For a given culture there are specific types of organization of knowledge within the image of the world of an engineer, as a result of which this communicative culture has certain specific speech organizations. Acquirement of Russian engineering discourse means mastering not only the sum of engineering knowledge in a particular industry, but also the ways of expressing them in Russian. These methods include certain genres and styles of speech, special terminology and lexico-grammatical composition.
