Scrum-technologies as an innovative method of teaching a foreign language in a non-linguistic university

Higher thinking order skills (HOTS) are in high demand in the job market. Higher-order thinking implies students’ ability to use extended knowledge to new situations. HOTS should be promoted and enhanced through learning foreign languages at non-linguistic university settings. The article considers the possibility of applying new methods in the field of education, particularly the scrum, gives a brief description of the method and its history and also gives examples of the experience of using the scrum method in educational institutions abroad.
