The article is devoted to the problem of linguistic research of small-format texts, defining their structure elements. To such texts relates culinary recipe. It deals with the structural features of the culinary recipe of Germany and Russia. The purpose of this work is to trace the history of the development structural feature's of the recipe. The study was carried out by analyzing the history of the development structure's culinary recipe in Germany and Russia. As a result, of an analysis established how the structure of the recipe varied over different periods of time and the main structural features of the recipe in Germany and Russia: the heading, the ingredients, the cooking guide and time.
