Characteristic aspects of expressing agreement in multimodal communication in political debates

The article deals with the analysis of different ways of expressing agreement and its specific features in political discourse. Different kinds of agreement as well as verbal and nonverbal means of expressing it are described. Rendering of the concept “agreement” is given. Verbal markers and nonverbal means of communication common for expressing agreement have been analyzed.
