State policy on the organization of universal education in 1941-1945 (on the example of the Orenburg region)

The article presents an analysis of the main directions of the Soviet state policy in the field of education during the Great Patriotic War. On the example of the Orenburg region, the specifics of the implementation of this policy in the rear are revealed. The assessment is given to the activities carried out by the state authorities in the center and on the ground for the implementation of one of the most important areas of social policy – the organization of universal education.
