Formation of interest among students in the study of subject areas: analysis of the problem

The problem of students' cognitive interest in the study of subject areas is debatable and multifaceted. The general education system is aimed at the formation of a creatively thinking personality, and methodological support for the erudite preparation of schoolchildren and the development of their skills in non-standard setting of tasks. Researchers have looked at different ways of forming cognitive activity. From the totality of the studied works, it is possible to single out the key areas in a comprehensive manner: organization of joint and collective educational activities; combination of various forms and methods of teaching; intensification of training; extracurricular activities as the basis for the formation of cognitive activity.
