On Brexit and other "-exits" in the Russian discourse

The paper concentrates on the multifaceted characteristics of the lexeme Brexit in the Russian discourse. We describe methods of graphic-orthographic adaption of the neologism Brexit in the donor language, determine lexico-semantic groups of verbs combined with which the procedural meaning of the word Brexit is manifested, and characterize -exit derivatives borrowed and formed on the Russian basis. We prove that Brexit can be classified as a keyword of the current moment.
