The concept of "family" as a key concept of the Russian and Dargin languages

The article is devoted to the study of the ethnocultural specifics of the concept of “family”. The Russian and Darginian proverbs representing of the concept of “family” are considered; the connections of the concepts of “home”, “marriage” and “homeland” in the structure of the polyconcept “family” are established. In some cases, such connections lead to the expansion of the semantics of the concept of “family”. The analysis also showed that the concept of “family” occupies an important position in the conceptual sphere of the Russian and Dargin languages and refers to universal concepts.
