KRASNOSELKUPSKY DISTRICT DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR (ECONOMY AND HOME FRONT WORKERS)

The publication is dedicated to the history of the Krasnoselkupsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets national Okrug in the years of the Great Patriotic War. The backbone of the work is formed by the processed archival documents obtained in the state archives of the Russian Federation, among them the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History, the State Archive of the Omsk Region, the State Archive of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The territory of the Krasnoselkupsky district was annexed to the Yamalo-Nenets national district subsequent to the formation of the Tyumen region. The Krasnoselkupsky district united four village councils, namely, Verkhnetazovsky (currently the Ratta village), Tazovsko-Nenetsky (Sidorovsky village council was abolished in 1975), Tazovsko-Selkupsky (Tolkinsky), Tymsko-Karakonsky (renamed Krasnoselkupsky village council). The collective farm was comprised of six collective farms, specifically, “collective farm named after Kirov" (Krasnoselkup), "collective farm named after Kalinin" (Kikiaki), "collective farm named after 3rd Stalin Five-Year Plan" (Ratta), "collective farm named after Molotov" (Chaselka), "Polyarny Krug" (Sidorovskoe collective farm), "collective farm named after Kirov" (in Tolika). The paper deals with the issues of economic activity, aimed at achieving victory, the population of the Krasnoselkup region carried out during the Great Patriotic War. In particular, the work presents the details of the performance to plan for the main sectors of the region's economy, as well as information about the foremost workers, awarded medal "For Valorous Labour during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945". The publication may be of interest to historians investigating the performannce features of the Far North regions, as well as to anthropologists and ethnographers.
