ANALYSIS OF THE IMAGE OF A WOMAN IN MODERN RUSSIAN LITERATURE (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE WORKS OF LYUDMILA EVGENEVNA ULITSKOIA)

The article presents the results of the study, which reveals the image of a woman in contemporary Russian literature. The basis for the study was the works of Lyudmila Evgenievna Ulitskaya. The author emphasizes that one of the features of the direction of "women's prose" can be called that there is no universal definition, a set of techniques or general canon, according to which the works of this direction are built. In "women's prose" there is more unique than common. This is what distinguishes it and attracts modern researchers. The author emphasizes that the consideration of the existing problem is most appropriate to conduct on the basis of the works of Lyudmila Evgenievna Ulitskaya, because a feature of her prose is the opposition of male and female. On the example of the works of Lyudmila Evgenievna Ulitskaya one can see how the female image develops in the modern domestic literature. In the article the author examines the female images presented in such works as "Sonechka" and "Medea and Her Children".
