STYLISTIC FEATURES OF METAPHORS IN TURKIC ASHUG POETRY

The article analyzes the stylistic features of metaphors in Turkic Ashug poetry. Along with all the similarities of the folklore language of the Turkish and Azerbaijani peoples, historically having the same cultural and historical roots, the identification of their features reveals the value of scientific research conducted on this topic. It is known that love poetry is a figurative language that preserves the living spirit of the national language. Figures, especially metaphors and metonymies, play an important role in this context. In the ashug language, metaphors are an indispensable stylistic tool for expressing the intention of the speaker and the author. The results of this scientific research provide valuable facts for theoretical linguistics, allowing us to determine the role of metaphor in strengthening the influence of the ashug language in the context of the author and metaphor.
