The article updates the problem of applying the design of an educational environment, which is caused by the need to use the latest innovative technologies related to the information and communication environment of the university, in accordance with the regulatory documents of higher education. In this work, the approaches of domestic and foreign scientific authors to the definition of the concept of “educational environment design” were analyzed.
