TURKISM-ORIENTALISM IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE PRESS

The article examines the semantic and functional features of Turkism-orientalism in the language of printed and online publications. The research material was lexical units recorded in dictionaries, examples from national and regional publications. Most of the Turkism orientalisms found in the texts under study are semantic lacunae, since the authors of the articles cannot convey the meaning of borrowing, therefore the original form of the word is used.
