ABOUT MIKHAIL ZENKEVICH'S LITERARY ACTIVITY IN SARATOV IN THE 1920s.

The article examines the work of the poet Mikhail Zenkevich in Saratov in the 1920s. Special attention is paid to individual poems published in local periodicals, as well as the only collection of poems published in Saratov, «Arable land of tanks». It has been noted that the artistic expressiveness of the poems combined with unusual plots is permeated by the poet's pessimistic views on the surrounding reality. The question of the main intentions of the poet's creative searches, expressed at the level of constructing a lyrical plot, continues to be debatable.
