IMPACT OF PRIMACY AND RECENCY EFFECTS ON MEMORY MECHANISMS IN MEMORIZATION AND REPRODUCTION OF LEARNING MATERIAL

One of the ways to increase the quality of future specialist training in the higher education structure lies in psychological support development of educational work. Perceptual effects, primacy and recency effects, play a large part in students’ knowledge mastering as well as skills and practice acquisition. The effects impact materially new learning material mastering, its memorization and reproduction. The learning session both planned and conducted, the impact of these effects should be taken into consideration as they impacts materially the students’ learning material quality irrespective of teacher’s or students’ desire.
