The article examines the motif of the small homeland in the poems of Russian lyricists of Buryatia. The dominants of this motif are revealed, their significance in the poetic vision is determined. The author proves the non-accidental conceptuality of the city space and the image of the house in the lyrical picture of the world. The article analyzes the artistic means of expression, in which the motive of love for a small homeland is concentrated. The general characteristic features in the works of V. Lipatov, M. Shikhanov and A. Shchitov are determined. The research is based on socio-cultural, historical and literary, descriptive and comparative methods.
