The article discusses the features of the editorial policy of scientific journals, the criteria for structuring manuscripts. The use of the IMRAD structure in the design of articles in publications indexed in the WoS and SCOPUS databases is analyzed. The author conclude that science is turning into media before our eyes, with all the inherent features of media.
