TURKISMS AS ELEMENTS OF THE LEXICAL SYSTEM OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE (BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF THE REGIONAL PRESS)

This article highlights the issues of interaction of the Turkic peoples and languages over the centuries with the Russian language culture, since the study of Turkisms in the Russian language is important not only for linguistics, but also for cultural studies and history. The object of the study is Turkisms as lexical elements that have become part of the Russian language directly from the Turkic languages or from other languages through the Turkic medium, which is actualized in the language of the regional press.
