THE IMPACT OF GLOBALIZATION ON MUSIC EDUCATION: ADAPTATION TO INTERCULTURAL DYNAMICS

The article is devoted to studying the problem of the influence of integration processes of globalization and mediatization on the formation of multicultural music education, aimed at awareness and acceptance of different cultures as a social norm and individual personal value. The process of developing communication skills and productive intercultural interaction is of particular importance. The author analyzes the experience of introducing multiculturalism in the system of modern music education in specific national cultural contexts, in particular Russia and China. The article also contains a brief analysis of the use of distance and music-computer technologies in the context of intercultural exchange of experience associated with international activities, as well as original multicultural music training programs based on modern interdisciplinary methodological approaches.
