The article analyzes the main directions of ensuring and developing fire safety in the Peter the Great period.
The relevance of the article is due to the continuity of innovative fire safety measures in the Peter the Great period in the work of the fire service today.
The purpose of the study is to identify the main directions of ensuring and developing fire safety, aimed at fulfilling the tasks of modern fire and rescue units for extinguishing fires and eliminating emergency situations, based on historical experience and professional competencies in the field of fire safety.
An assessment of the main directions of ensuring and developing fire safety in the Peter the Great period contributes to the effective study of the theoretical part of fire prevention activities in Russia and its optimal practical application in modern conditions.
