The article touches upon a topical issue today - the formation of a harmonious, developed personality of a child in the educational process. Considerable attention is paid to the problem - the level of formation of artistic and aesthetic education in students in art lessons, as well as methodological approaches to its development. Determining the presence of a child's level of aesthetic development is a complex and promising work necessary to assess the developmental side of education. Aesthetic education in the process of life of schoolchildren raises the question of the interaction of artistic methods of education and methods of pedagogical influence in general.
