The article is devoted to the characteristics of the process of dispossession of peasant farms located on the territory of the modern Kemerovo region. The issues of the ideological and legal justification for the liquidation of the kulaks, as well as the algorithm of the policy of dispossession, are considered. The problems faced by both party workers and the peasants themselves during the transfer of the village to the so-called "socialist rails" are considered in detail. On the other hand, the article describes the methods and methods by which the kulaks and their sympathizers tried to resist the mechanism of state coercion. The question is also raised about the attitude towards the kulaks in the village itself and about the influence of ideological and explanatory work on it by the party. The statistics of the growth and development of collective farms in Kuzbass in the early 1930s are given. The novelty of the research is seen in the widespread use of previously unpublished party and state documents from the collections of the State Archive of the Novosibirsk region.
