NON-VOTCHINNIKI OF THE SARALIMINSKY LAND VOLOST OF THE UFA DISTRICT (BASED ON MATERIALS OF THE III REVISION)

The article, based on data from the III revision (1762), examines the non-votchinniki of the Saraliminsky land volost, who lived in numerous villages with the permission of the votchinniks. Analysis of these data allows us to study in detail the territory of the volost and the process of formation of its population. According to the revision materials, the main group consists of yasak tatars, but tatars assigned to the Admiralty, old-baptized and newly-baptized residents are also mentioned. Most of population has lived here since ancient times. Particular attention is paid to inter-class marriages in order to emphasize the class nature of the term “bashkir”.
