THE LAND QUESTION OF THE VOTXCHINNIKS OF THE KARABASHEV TYUBA OF THE KYRGYZ LAND VOLOST IN THE LAST QUARTER OF THE 19TH CENTURY

The article examines the land issue of the votchinniks of the Kyrgyz land volost of the Belebeevsky and Birsky districts of the Ufa province in the last quarter of the 19th century. The author analyzes the difficulties associated with the lack of clear land tenure plans and problems in securing land, which sometimes led to disputes between votchinniks. According to the law, votchinniks were entitled to 15 acres of land per capita, but this norm was often not observed. Votchinniks appealed to various authorities, but their efforts were not always successful. The authorities insisted on a peaceful settlement of disputes by mutual consent of the parties, but the problems could not be resolved without the participation of the state.
