FORMULATION AND SOLUTION OF THE MAIN METHODOLOGICAL TASKS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CASE MODULE FOR THE TEXTBOOK “MANAGEMENT AS A SCIENCE AND PRACTICAL ACTIVITY”

The article provides a step-by-step analysis of main methodological tasks facing a developer of a case module aimed at studying management in English. Methodology of the article is based on the case module of the English textbook «Management as a Science and Practical Activity», currently used for teaching 3rd year Business and Management students in the State University of Management. The research is presented in the form of a task book clarifying particularities and issues of modern management theory and practice. The proper procedure for working with scientific, educational, reference and information sources of modern management theory and practice is considered in detail. The key methodological principles behind selection, creation and arrangement of educational materials within the framework of a practice-oriented module in a textbook on English for Specific Purposes are revealed and explained.
