Defining the determinants of effective management of professional and personal development of scientific and pedagogical personnel of higher education, the author developed a component structure of scientific and pedagogical professionalism. Each structural component has its own substructure as a set of elements of scientific and pedagogical activity: the motivational and value component reflects the professional and pedagogical focus and professional and pedagogical position; The cognitive-praxeological component covers professional-pedagogical competence and professional-pedagogical mastery; the reflexive-emotional component characterizes emotional stability and focus on self-knowledge; the professional-identity component of scientific-pedagogical activity of a higher education teacher includes professionally significant qualities and individual image. The following are identified as the leading determinants of managing professional-personal development of scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher education: organizational-pedagogical; psychological-pedagogical; social-pedagogical.
