THE USUAL AND OCCASIONAL VOCABULARY IN THE LITERARY WORKS OF BORIS SHERGIN: SEMANTICS AND FUNCTIONS

The article is devoted to the study of occasional and usual vocabulary in the works of Boris Shergin. Based on the material of prose from different years, it is revealed that lexical units allow us to represent the moral and spiritual characteristics of the Pomors, compatriots of the writer. The semantic cluster reveals the peculiarities of the functioning of lexical units. Phraseological actualizers compile the life path of the heroes and the harsh nature of the Arkhangelsk Region into a kind of cognitive aspect of the perception of the cultural heritage of the Pomors as a whole.
