DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF THE LANGUAGE OF THE SCIENCE FICTION STORY BY V.YA.BRYUSOV "THE TRIUMPH OF SCIENCE" ("DON'T RESURRECT ME!")

For the first time, the language of V. Ya. Bryusov's story "The Triumph of Science" ("Don't Resurrect Me!") is examined from a linguo-poetic position in the article. Using the method of discursive analysis, the genre of the work is specified, which qualifies as a warning story that combines the features of a pamphlet with elements of dystopia, as well as the meaning of the work. The means of creating satire in the work are the techniques of sarcasm, grotesque, contrast, alogism, absurdity. The anti-utopian effect is achieved with the help of such language techniques that form the subtext of the story, such as the actualization of the background semantics of numerals, the use of intertextual inclusions, anthroponyms.
