The article describes the directions of formation of information culture of primary school students by means of introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into electronic information and educational environment (EIEE) of primary school. Formation of this culture, starting from the stage of primary general education, is an important part of educational policy aimed at education of citizens who are able to navigate in information space safely and effectively. The article discusses introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into EIEE of primary school, which is a complex of interconnected software and technological means for teaching and upbringing of children. EIEE functions as an integrated system providing access to educational resources and content, as well as effective interaction between teachers, students and parents. The article highlights key components of EIEE: organizational, informational, communicational, educational and practical and sociocultural, each of which can be improved with the help of AI technologies to improve quality of education and formation of necessary skills of working with information in children.
