CONDITIONS AND FACTORS THAT INFLUENCED THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE MILITARY EDUCATION SYSTEM OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION’S GROUND FORCES

The article presents the current problems of reforming the system of higher military education during the creation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The analysis of the ongoing changes in the system of higher military education, as well as quantitative and qualitative factors influencing this process, allowed us to consider the main directions of reforming the studied system, reflecting the leading aspects of the formation and features of military education in the formed Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In addition, the article considers the change in the regulatory framework that ensures the reform of the system of higher military education of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The study of the regulatory framework allowed us to conclude that the formed system of higher military education of the Russian Federation relied as much as possible on the potential created in previous years, using the best and abandoning the outdated.
