The article examines one of the stages in the development of the state farm movement, which took place on the territory of the Bryansk province in 1921-1925.
The purpose of the article is to attract interest in the agrarian measures of the Soviet state in the first years of the new economic policy, and also focuses on the process of forming state farms in the Bryansk province and the specifics of their functioning.
The authors conclude that, despite the general negative result in the functioning of state farms of this period, the experience of socialist farms deserves research attention and is a practical part of the agrarian policy of the Soviet state in the first half of the 20s. XX century.
