THE AXIOLOGICAL POTENTIAL OF MILITARY HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE IN THE PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF MILITARY UNIVERSITY CADETS

Currently, increased attention in the military professional training of future officers of the Russian Army is paid to patriotic education, the content of which actualizes the importance of studying the history of Russia, the stages of the heroic path of Russian and Soviet soldiers, the combat experience and traditions of the Russian army, their role in the formation of military-patriotic consciousness, military-professional worldview an officer. In this regard, the task of using the value bases of military historical knowledge in patriotic education and the formation of a military-professional worldview of military university students is a priority. The article reveals the content of the author's program "Patriot officer and Defender of the Fatherland", which ensures the realization of the axiological potential of military historical knowledge in the patriotic education of military university cadets and discusses the main results of experimental work.
