A STUDY OF PRACTICAL TEACHING OF IDEOLOGICAL AND POLITICAL DISCIPLINES IN A UNIVERSITY BASED ON INNOVATIVE THINKING

The article actualizes the problem of universalization of teaching ideological and political disciplines in the context of modern realities of higher education. The author believes that the significance of this problem entails revision of methodological aspects of teaching the relevant disciplines, involvement in the methodology of interaction of subjects of the educational process of methods and techniques that contribute to the formation of innovative thinking of students, within the framework of which it will be possible to avoid localization of ideological and political problems, reduction of understanding of political interactions of states on the basis of country specifics, and will also allow to bring teaching ideological and political disciplines closer to the political specifics of our time. The author aims to identify the possibilities of practical teaching of ideological and political disciplines at the university based on innovative thinking using the example of studying the conceptual foundations of the military-political strategy of China (historical perspective) using the cinquain method. The article substantiates the effectiveness of using the cinquain method in the process of teaching ideological and political disciplines at the university for the development of innovative thinking of students.
