In 1964-1965 some Moscow enterprises have introduced a new business planning procedure as an economic experiment. In particular, the Sewing Association «Bolshevichka» went to work on direct orders of trading organizations, as planned indicators were approved only the volume of products and profitability. For some of the automobile enterprises of Glavmosavtotrans, one reporting indicator was set - the amount of profit deductions to the budget. All other business activity indicators were determined by these enterprises themselves. The results of their work in the experiment show improvements in production efficiency, profit growth and budget allocations.
