The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of project-oriented learning on students' motivation in studying foreign languages. Analysis of modern studies of domestic and foreign scientists allowed us to establish that project-oriented learning puts students at the center of the process and makes them responsible for their own education. It was revealed that work on a project contributes to the creation of conditions for the effective development of motivation to study a foreign language, including solving problems related to everyday life, independent student activity, teamwork, practical activity. It was determined that project activity contributes to the fact that learning a foreign language becomes an important personal task, motivating the student to active learning.
