This article discusses current issues of training future speech therapists from the perspective of an interdisciplinary approach. Special attention is paid to the formation of universal competencies of future teachers in the field of inclusive education. Effective interaction does not arise spontaneously, it must be consistently developed. Modern life requires mastering the skills of such interaction. One of the priorities of modern education is the training of personnel to work with students with specific learning difficulties.
