In this article, the author examines the challenges and issues that the conventional higher education system faces due to the increasing prevalence of artificial intelligence in modern life. This trend inevitably impacts the educational process. A comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of integrating AI into higher education is presented. The paper also explores the potential sphere of applications of AI and neural networks within the educational framework. Additionally, it emphasizes the role and responsibility of educators and higher education institutions regarding the adoption of innovative digital technologies and tools. The conclusion advocates for the establishment of a robust regulatory framework that strictly defines the rules and limitations for AI use in higher education, as well as for the development of a systematic and consistent approach to teaching that reflects contemporary trends in the society.
