The article examines the perception of traditional national values by modern Russian youth in the context of the transformation of the socio-cultural environment. The theoretical basis of the research was the works in the field of linguoculturology, sociolinguistics and conceptology. The empirical basis is represented by the results of a questionnaire survey of 1918 respondents, mostly aged 18 to 24 years. Dominant cognitive and emotional associations associated with key concepts have been identified, and intergenerational and gender differences in the interpretation of values have been recorded. It is revealed that the basic values remain relevant, but are being reinterpreted taking into account digitalization, globalization and changes in communication practices. Conclusions are drawn about the need for state support for the processes of semantic reproduction of traditional values among young people.
