POTATO AND VEGETABLE GROWING IN GORNO-ALTAISK IN THE EARLY 2000S - 2020S

The paper examines potato and vegetable growing in Gorno-Altaisk in 2000s - early 2020s. An analysis of climate and natural environment and map of Gorno-Altaisk has been performed in order to find out the possibilities of its population to be engaged in plant growing in the town. Information on the area sown with potatoes and vegetable crops in citizens' households has been provided. The structure of sown areas by types of vegetable crops in the households of the population of Gorno-Altaisk has also been investigated.
