FRAME SCRIPT "GLOOMIINESS" IN THE COLD WAVE GENRE (ON THE MATERIAL OF FRENCH TEXTS)

This article is devoted to the study of the linguistic features of the representation of the frame-script "Gloominess" in the increasingly popular genre of cold wave. The material of the study was the texts of the compositions of cold wave performers in French. In the structure of the frame-script, two cognitive dominants are distinguished. They are represented by the subframes "Existentialism" and "Gothic image". The authors draw a conclusion that the growing popularity of this genre is due to its gloomy aesthetics, which helps listeners to experience negative emotions in modern realities.
