THE EVACUATION PROCESS DURING THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR AND ITS SIGNIFICANCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SOCIAL SPHERE IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURY (BASED ON THE MATERIALS OF THE CHKALOV REGION)

The historical study attempts to characterize the evacuation process during the Great Patriotic War in the Chkalov region and its significance for the further development of the social sphere of Orenburg region. The relevance of the work lies in the need to generalize the evacuation process in the Chkalov region and determine its significance for the region, including in the socio-economic aspect. The conclusions drawn in this regional historical study enrich historical science and deepen understanding of the evacuation process in the Soviet Union. The main evacuation centers in Orenburg region, the key challenges faced by local Soviet party authorities within the framework of this strategic and logistical process, as well as its consequences for the region are identified. The results of the research can be used to supplement the lecture material on the discipline «History of Russia» and «History of the Urals».
